The Juice on Lollipop Lips: The Latest Lip Trend You Probably Shouldn't Try
Kylie Jenner made overlining a thing but MAC Cosmetics is now saying "do more than overline" with its latest trend called lollipop lips.
Lollipop lips make use of several products like lip gloss, pigments and lipstick to create a messier version of gradient or ombre lips.
The online reviews are, to be kind about it, lackluster.
One, the trend isn't wearable. It makes you look like you slept in your makeup. It literally brings new meaning to "I woke up like this."
Second, it's difficult to do. We tried it at home using MAC Clear Lip Glass, MAC Ruby Woo
Lipstick and a reddish eyeshadow and we didn't achieve the desired results. A MAC artist could do it but for commoners like us, it is difficult.

So this is a trend we'll leave to the pros and models on the runway.
