Aug 9 A 6-Step Easy Makeup Routine for a Barely There Look

Let's admit it. Us women just want to play around with our makeup every now and then, defying makeup techniques to create our own style and looks.

This is what I do every chance I get for some “me time”. And since nude makeup is my favorite makeup style, here are my own must-haves, staples, and tools for my carefree "bare" look.

Step 1: Eyebrows

For the eyebrows go au-naturelle with Etude House’s Drawing Eyebrow. Follow the natural arch of your brows and use the pencil as you would any ordinary brow product.

Step 2: Moisturizer

A dab here and there of Quickfx Tinted Moisturizer with Glutathione and Shea Butter is my go-to item if I want some sheer makeup for my usual day out. I’ve used it for more than a year and it has been good to a busy mom like me.

Step 3: Prime

I apply Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer to dewy-fy my first layer of makeup. I put this primer just in case I change my mind middle of the day and decide to put on a thicker foundation on top of my moisturizer. This primer is available in different varieties but I like using just the classic one.
