MAC Cosmetics’ Popular Lightful Line Is Now Even Better
MAC Cosmetics’ bestselling Lightful-C franchise has been revamped with 10 “hybrids”—upgrades of all-time favorites and exciting new and innovative makeup and skincare products.

Yumiko Nishikawa, senior director for product development in Asia Pacific for the Estée Lauder Companies Inc. said Lightful C3 offers tangible elements so you see, upon application, how good it is on your skin.
She singled out the Radiant Hydration Skin Renewal Lotion as her favorite from the line. This lotion is used after the cleanser and before the Radiant Hydration Skin Renewal Emulsion.
Another popular product from the Lightful C3 line is the Lightful C+ Coral Grass Tinted Primer SPF44/PA++++.
Regan Rabanal, MAC’s education director for Asia Pacific, shared tips on how to do a simple makeup look in three simple steps:
1. After cleansing with the Lightful C3 Clarifying Gel-to-Foam Deep Cleanser, apply Lightful C3 Radiant Hydration Skin Renewal Lotion with a cotton pad, swiping gently on the skin for instant soothing hydration.
2. Pat two pumps of the Lightful C3 Radiant Hydration Skin Renewal Emulsion on the cheeks, chin and forehead until well absorbed. This emulsion is a a lightweight multi-benefit milky lotion that hydrates, softens and provides a rosy tone-up effect.
3. As the final base prep to start your makeup, apply the new All-Day Tone-Up Balm SPF30/PA++, an “on-the-go” tone-up cream compact that immediately brightens with a non-sticky, innovative cream balm texture that “melts” into skin, or you could use the crowd favorite, Lightful C+ Tinted Primer SPF45/PA++++ over the cheeks and blend into the skin to protect, perfect and prime in an instant.
You can finish the look with the Naturally Flawless Foundation with Light-Diffusing Complex SPF35/PA++ and finish up with the Natural Silk Powder Foundation SPF15/PA++ for a refined silky soft complexion. Or you could go “bare,” if you choose to do so.
The prices of the products in the Lightful C3 line start from P1,500. The most expensive product is the Coral Grass Tinted Primer for P2,700. The line is available at all MAC locations in the Philippines.
