TCL TechMania: CoolFest Year 2 Returns, Redefining Smart Living with SM Appliance Center

TCL, the Triple Global Top 1 TV Brand and a trusted leader in home appliances, brings back TCL TechMania: CoolFest Year 2, co-presented by SM Appliance Center. The the biggest and coolest event of the year was held last June 28, 2025, at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

This year, TCL CoolFest Y2 transformed into a the most exciting event ever, highlighting everything "cool,” from high-energy performances by guest artists and online content creators to the appearance of the hottest brand ambassador, and, of course, the innovative TCL appliances showcased throughout the venue.

The highlight of TCL CoolFest Y2 is The Smart Living Zone: Where Innovation Meets Experience, an immersive space that showcased the latest high-tech appliances from TCL Philippines. This zone featured the newest lineup of QLED and QD-Mini LED TVs, alongside the advanced range of air conditioning units, washing machines, and refrigerators.

Guests got to test and explore the brand’s latest innovations, from the massive 98-inch QD-Mini LED TV and FreshIN 3.0 Inverter Air Conditioner, to the WashPro Combo+ and the Free Built-in Multi-Door Refrigerator, all defining TCL’s smart connectivity and energy-saving features in life. 

The guests also joined the fun through the “Spin the Wheel” activity, definitely a crowd favorite and got the chance to win exclusive TCL merchandise.

TCL Deputy Director of Sales, Ms. Cyd Montebon, opened the main program with an inspiring message that marked TCL’s 25th anniversary in the Philippines, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to delivering smart, accessible tech to every Filipino home.

“It is an exciting day for us to all be here and unveil our latest lineup, a fusion of cutting-edge technology and everyday brilliance. Together, these innovations mark a new chapter in our commitment to smarter, healthier, and cooler Filipino homes,” she said.

Also present onstage were leaders from TCL Philippines, who are responsible for overseeing the  development of each product line.  They are Deputy Director of Brownline Products Charlie Huang, Deputy Product Director of the Air Conditioner Line Bert Cheung, and Senior Product Manager, Washing Machine and Refrigerators Eric Li. They unveiled TCL’s innovations, including the QD-Mini LED TVs, T-AI-powered air conditioners, and inverter motor for washers and refrigerators, emphasizing energy efficiency, smart control, and premium design.

TCL also brought out its brand partners and content creators Charuth and Jomari Angeles. After visiting the TCL Cool Truck and Smart Living Zone, they brand anbassadors shared how TCL tech makes everyday living more exciting, convenient, and future-ready.

Select fans, dubbed the "Coolfest Barkada," had the chance to interact with brand ambassador Kathryn Bernardo in games like "Guess That, Kath!" and "Unbox The Cool." Winners took home prizes from TCL.

Capping the program was an musical performance by Lola Amour, who performed their hits, like “San Kakapit,” “Fallen,” “Dance,” and “Raining in Manila.”
