Upsize Your Group Christmas Party at These Venue Picks!
The Christmas season is finally upon us and there’s no denying it. Decors, blinking lights, the cool air, even the famous Starbucks red cups are back. You know what that means, girls! Christmas parties all around! Now, if you happen to be assigned by the office or your group to pick out the venue for the annual holiday party, don’t panic. We got your back.
Here are five places you can choose from:
What’s a Christmas party without a feast to enjoy with the rest of your group, right? There’s always joy in eating with a big group of friends while you exchange gifts. Since it’s already December, make sure to call the resto first to make a reservation. There are some restaurants that require one especially if you happen to be a big group.
Try Tong Yang Shabu-Shabu & Barbecue Restaurant which is pretty cheap for a buffet that’s eat (and drink!) all you can.
Visit a Tong Yang branch near you. Check out where you can find them here.
Vikings is popular for its huge variety of food choices and awesome promos. This December, they have several promotions which your office can take advantage of. Check out their site for more details.
Your Charity of Choice
Christmas is a time to share. Pick a charity your office can visit and give your extra blessings to the less fortunate this holiday season. Bring gifts and food to share to your chosen charity and spend time with them. Spread cheer and hope to those who need it the most this Christmas.
There’s Anawim, home for the rejected and abandoned elderly. You can spend time with the lolos and lolas at Anawim or donate for their needs. To know more about their programs, visit their site.
BrightHalls Children's Foundation is a non-government organization registered and licensed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and is serving abandoned and surrendered children below 3 years old.

A Fancy Hotel
If your office organization is pretty large, it might be a good idea to hold the party at a hotel. Pick one that is close to your location, has options on catering and can of course accommodate the size of your group.
Discovery Suites can be a perfect location for fancy office parties if you’re located in the Ortigas area. They have a great steak restaurant, 22 Prime, located on the top floor of the hotel. Check out their site at for more information.
Makati has a lot of hotels in the district, so there’s really a lot to choose from. There’s Makati Shangri-la, Fairmont Hotel, Discovery Primea, The Peninsula Manila. The best way to figure out which hotel is best for your office is to note down the size of the party and the budget. That should narrow down your list of potential hotels.
Cutting down on expenses? Why not hold the Christmas party right at the office? Go potluck and use the time to go around, talk to others you haven’t really had time to speak to majority of the time because of work.
Check out our list of awesome potluck dishes!
Does your group enjoy singing or going to bars after office hours? It might be a great idea to reserve a resto bar that allows you a bit of karaoke, downtime with billiards, and just lounging around with other groups. There are a lot of bars at the BGC, Makati and Ortigas area.
#CableCarStories: Parokya ni Edgar always go to Cable Car to enjoy the classics. When the band went to Iloilo two months ago and saw a Cable Car branch, they can't help but to drop by and enjoy the classic Cable Car Rice and Sisig Rice. From all the way to Iloilo, the Cable Car experience still lingers. Makati | BGC | Tomas Morato | Ortigas | Iloilo #CableCarPH #CableCarItsHome
Niner Ichi Nana at BGC is home to craft cocktails that will make you want to keep coming back. Indulge in the posh ambiance that would totally upsize your group's holiday party.
