Watsons Celebrates Women Through the #UnstoppablePowHER Initiative

The #UnstoppablePowHER: The Watsons Women’s Forum 2025 brought together women from different generations in an event organized by Watsons, the country’s leading health, wellness, and beauty retailer.

These women made the event at Enderun, McKinley in Taguig City even more exciting as they shared their stories of breaking barriers and empowerment.

The event featured activities that the guests enjoyed and good food in a beautiful setting. The activities included a customized scent perfume bar, commissioned artists for watercolor portrait, a photo booth, and message wall.

The highlight of the event hosted by Mica Pineda was a panel discussion featuring four remarkable women.

Ting Joson is the secretary general of Triathlon Philippines and a seasoned athlete. During the discussion, she encouraged women to embrace a more active lifestyle.

Karen Ibasco, Miss Earth 2017, medical physicist, and WWF Philippines Ambassador, talked about her advocacy for sustainability and the environment.

Lynn Pinugu, co-founder and CEO of She Talks Asia and Executive Director of Mano Amiga Philippines, discussed the importance of education and equality and empowering women and the youth.

Finally, lawyer Star Elamparo, named Woman Lawyer of the Year at the Southeast Asia Law Awards, talked about how women could use their platforms to promote good governance and defend the rights of the underprivileged.

The event also featured PowHER Stories, an open mic session where women bravely shared their respective journeys. Some of the stories were happy, the others were tinged with pain and sadness but everything the guests heard was empowering.

The event was a safe, inclusive, and uplifting space ad Watsons reaffirmed its role as an authentic community builder.

The Women’s Forum 2025 capped Watsons’ year-long #UnstoppablePowHER campaign, as the brand’s advocacy continues every day.
