Tried And Tested: Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is a makeup artist’s favorite and has a cult following among beauty enthusiasts.

We finally got to try this moisturizer, thanks to LOOK at SM Aura, a beauty destination that brings together different brands under one roof. Luckily, Embryolisse is one of those brands. You can buy this at their physical store or via their website for Php1,980.

Now on to our review of this cream, which we used for about a month before we came up with a verdict:

To be honest, we did not have high hopes as we thought this could be just another overhyped product but we were proven wrong. Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré was comparable, if not better to the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, which costs about thrice as much. This emollient would work on any skin type except for the very oily.

Pros

Thin and lightweight consistency

Applies smoothly and helps improve the look and feel of dry spots

A thin layer works as a makeup primer

It gives the skin a dewy look without making it oily

If your skin is dull, applying this will make it look and feel better instantly. Disclaimer: You’d need to use Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré consistently for a period of time to make the effect permanent

It’s paraben-free

You can use it on your hands and body, although that could prove to be expensive

Cons

It contains mineral oil, which is a comedogenic although it didn’t break us out

It’s fragranced, which could be a problem for those with very sensitive skin

Overall, we are very happy with Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré. It made our skin happy and healthy and is, in fact, one of the best moisturizers we have used in years. If you sleep in an airconditioned room or have very dry skin, this is worth a try.
