Shows You Should Watch To Get You Aboard The K-Drama Bandwagon

Whether or not you’re a fan of Korean culture, a lot of people have been watching Korean dramas or “K-dramas,” may it be Descendants of the Sun, Goblin, or Legend of the Blue Sea.

If you’re looking to dive into the K-drama wave or just looking for what to watch next, here are some of our recommendations:

Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People

This historical drama follows Hong Gil Dong (played by Yoon Kyung Sang), a man of “low birth”, who steals from the rich to give to the poor and his journey to become the first revolutionary activist.

Chief Kim

Kim Sung Ryong is an employee who works as an accountant for TQ Group. He realized  the corruption of the company but doesn’t mind it until he meets his co-worker, Yun Hagyeong, who encourages him to save his fellow employees. This comedy drama stars Nam Goong Min and Nam Sang Mi.

Introverted Boss

Eun Hwan Ki is the CEO who his so shy that it disrupts how he runs his company. Chae Ro Woon is an employee who is the exact opposite of his boss. This comedy drama will soon show how the two are tied together with a complicated past.

This crime thriller stars Moo Jin-hyuk (played by Jang Hyuk), is a detective full of guilt because his wife was murdered while he was at work, and Kwan Kwon-joo (played by Lee Han-na), who is investigating how her father got killed. These two team up as the “Golden Time team” to solve cases together and find the killers who took their loved ones.

Defendant

Park Jung Woo (played by Ji Sung) wakes up one day to find that he is convicted of a murder he does not remember committing. The mystery thriller drama follows Park Jung Woo’s journey as he uncovers the truth.
