SM Cinema Gets Exclusive Right To Air BTS Concert In PH

Unless you’re a Filipino with a permanent address in Korea, it’s not possible for you to watch the BTS concert at Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul on March 10, 12 and 13.

For now, only the following are allowed entry to Korea from the Philippines:

Korean Nationals

Foreigners or non-Korean Nationals staying for a long period of time re-entering the country after obtaining a re-entry permit when leaving the country after June 1, 2020.

You may not be able to attend the three-day concert in Korea but you can always stream it. However, if you’re tired of watching online concerts and want something different, SM Cinema has announced it will be exclusively showing the global live-viewing of the BTS’ “Permission to Dance on Stage-Seoul” concert in theaters.

The concert will be the first time RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook will perform in Seoul in front of a live since 2019.

The show on March 10 and 13 will be streamed online, while the show on March 12 will be available for live viewing at selected theaters globally.

Based on the Inter Agency Task Force’s guidelines, cinemas are allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity under Alert Level 2. Only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed in enclosed cinemas. Moviegoers must also be at least one seat apart and wear a face mask at all times. Eating inside the cinema is not allowed.

No other details have been announced by SM Cinema.
