You either love her or hate her but you cannot deny that beauty and skincare entrepreneur Nina Ellaine Dizon Cabrera’s products are always of good quality. Whether it’s a lip balm, a hair bleaching kit or a deodorant, the products are always well-made and they work.

Finally, the 28-year-old CEO is getting into the clothing business after a body shaming TikTok user commented something about her weight on one of her videos.

Every Body is an inclusive clothing brand that carries sizes 5XL-2XS. It is probably one of the first local fashion brands to offer 10 sizes! For the soft launch, Every Body is releasing a body suit in three colors on its website, everybody.ph, on December 15, 2021, 7pm.

Over the past year, Cabrera experienced rapid weight gain because of PCOS and she felt bad because she couldn’t find clothes she wanted in the right size. She also became the target of so many body-shaming comments on the Internet and thus, decided to use her platform to tackle, among other important issues, inclusivity.

The Feeling Perky Bodysuit (P1,999) is Every Body’s first release. Don’t expect fast fashion. The bodysuit is made of 82% nylon and 18% spandex so you can feel its stretchy embrace. Users can mix and match the quick dry, anti-wrinkle, +UPF 50 Sun Protecting suit with jeans or a denim jacket on a non-swim day. The bodysuit comes in three colors: Cherry (a striking warm red), Pearl (a crisp white) and Sherb (a nude pink).

Cabrera recently wore Sherb under a blazer and she was amazed at how comfortable it was.

Every Body takes the slower route with investment pieces that are made to last. Cabrera said it was important for the brand to put out high quality clothing instead of trendier pieces so that its users would prioritize value and quality for longer periods of time over short fashion cycles that may lead to subpar products or questionable production processes.

“We just wanted to cover all bases. I’m learning about all of the intricacies of the fashion industry at the same time as my followers and I believe they’ll see the value in crafting pieces for every body type out there.”

And everything is proudly made in the Philippines.

“To be quite honest, I was really shocked when I first fond out about the costs, It really is more expensive to source locally but I guess you can't put a price on the fulfillment of being able to help an industry survive in this pandemic,” said Cabrera.
